About Bruce Charles Maag
Introduction
For over 30 years, Bruce Charles Maag has devoted his life to the betterment of the lives of children who have lost their families and homes, tirelessly working with a number of groups and organizations whose aim is to aid children without families and homes. A resident of Lima, Ohio, Bruce Charles Maag is currently a licensed counselor and a social worker in the State of Ohio.
Career Experience
He has over 500 hours of continual professional development through attendance at various local, state, and national conferences and seminars. Bruce Charles Maag was also a member of the Ohio Department of Human Services committee on Liability Insurance for Private Non Profit. Maag’s outstanding work in his field has easily been noticed, and he has twice been nominated for the Jaycees Distinguished Service Award. Bruce has also been listed in the Who’s Who in Human Service Professionals and recognized in 1984 as the Outstanding Child Advocates for Ohio by the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies Committee. Maag was also a member of the Governor’s Commission on Volunteerism and the fifth President of the North American Foster Family Board Treatment Association. Recently, his organization “International Phoenix Group” was nominated as one of the outstanding new businesses in Allen County Ohio for 2006.
The Great Outdoors
Aside from his work with children, Maag also spends time playing a variety of sports and even coaches little league and volleyball teams. Bruce Charles Maag also loves to spend his time outdoors camping or hiking.
